Classic Controller as GameCube Controller - Gecko Codes?

Any chance a gecko code could be made to allow GameCube controller compatible Wii games to display or assign the GameCube layout when the Classic Controller is used? This could be very useful for those of us that enjoy using the GameCube styled, PDP Fight Pads. I dont expect any miracles. It's just a thought.

Like... probably not.

Also, only a handful of Wii games works with GCN Controller, so probably nobody will try to do an effort.

Maybe you could force a controller.ini file somehow? But that's just guessing.

If I am understanding correctly the only way would be a texture mod. Replace the A,B,X and Y with the GameCube one.
