PS3 beeps 3 times and restarts sometimes after exiting game or app using the PS button

no offense, but you do seem to have a lot of problems with your system. what are the odds that all your systems would have some sort of problem. I think this is user error at this point.

Now, after pressing the DualShock 3's PS button to turn on the PS3, the controller keeps blinking and only when I manually connect it to the PS3 and disconnect the cable, it stops. If I only press the DualShock 3's PS button after manually pressing the PS3's power button, I don't have this problem. Maybe the PS2's Brook Super Converter messed it up.

Sounds like the controller is paired to the Super Converter and not the console. Seems to make sense, since how would the console turn on if the converter has no power as it seems to get it's power from the console. So when you turn on the controller once the console is turned on it will pair since the converter is now powered up.

Remove the converter and pair the controller back to the console should solve this.

It stops blinking and then I can use it. Should I get a second DualShock 3 just for the PS3 and use the current one just on the PS2?

Also, it seems the DualShock 3 is always low on battery after using it on the PS2. Maybe turning off the PS2 doesn't turn it off even though it loses all LEDs? Maybe it's wasting battery overnight.

EDIT: How can the DualShock 3's battery be charged if using the controller on the PS2 with the Brook Super Converter? I guess manually connecting it to the Brook Super Converter's while it's connected to the PS2 won't charge its battery.

The same way you charge it on a ps3 when it's turned off. Plug it in somewhere else or a charging station of some kind.

Well for a proper test you would need an additional ps3 and controller. This way you could tell if it's an issue with the Wifi/bt board or the controller it self. Only way to know for sure before purchasing another controller would be to test it on another ps3 or test another controller with yours.

I guess if it was the PS3's BT module's or the controller's fault, I couldn't play wirelessly like I can if I do said "trick".

It's hard to say really. You obvouisly have a problem and without proper diagnostic you may never know what it is. If you're not willing to test it and just give responses like this then why bother asking at all?

It may have a point but there still seems to be an issue since it's not working as intended. Since you seem to already have all of your answers it's pointless for anyone to give you advice if you're just going to come up with your own conclusions or excuses for not testing it properly. I just tested and it works fine in another PS3 as well as another controller from another PS3 works fine in mine, so now what? Like I thought, I lost time for nothing.

EDIT: I installed Evilnat 4.89.3 v2 and I no longer have the controller issue. I started having it after installing Evilnat 4.89.3 Beta.

EDIT 2: If I close FileZilla Client after uploading files from the PC to the PS3 or if I don't connect an USB device to the PS3 before uploading them (or if I take it after uploading them), I can exit IRISMAN using the PS button without the PS3 beeping thrice and restarting and I can return to XMB from IRISMAN using the Circle button without the PS3 beeping thrice and turning off.
