At first the motorcycle idea seemed pretty dumb, but if you watch the anime it's actually pretty cool (not the dub though, 4kids always ruins it).

Though since this game is the Championship version, most of it will probably be just normal dueling. There is a Wii game coming out later though called "Wheelie Breakers" (GREAT naming there), that one will focus much more on motorcycle type dueling with the Speed Spells/Counters.

Funny how they kept the "Avatar" creation the same.. i'd hope for some more customization. =P

Also, I just read that the game will have a Speed Spell version of Harpies Feather Duster and Raigeki exclusively for this game.

Speed Spell- Harpies Feather Duster: Normal Spell
"Remove 10 Speed Counters from a "Speed World" you control. Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls."

Now that Raigeki and HFD have Speed spells, and need 10 peed counters to activate(which sucks) are they still going to be banned? I hope not, its more reasonable to ban the normal spell as its pure pwnage but not these speed spells, they have an activation cost (10 speed counters!!)

I used to like Yu-Gi-Oh and especially the WC series but I pretty much gave up after the horrible GX series started. Now, I don't really care much about it at all although I still play the new WC games once in a while.

I didn't even know 5D existed though... Based on what I've read in this topic, it sounds even lamer than GX. >_

Man i cant wait for this game....Nightmare Troubadour was meh (freaking game decided to corrupt on me after i yelled "@&!^ YOU HEART OF THE CARDS" after drawing all magic/traps for 10 duels straight on first turn). Spirit Caller was amazing (I loved the fact about having a spirit beast, but the online was kind of broken), and WC 2007/2008 were amazing (I still play 2008 sometimes). The only thing i hated was the fact that for a LONG time the top 10 people on Wi-Fi would always DC on you right before you beat them, which made the online rankings broken. Plus hackers took over.
