Hacking You can now (in theory) install b9s on a stock o3ds using just a magnet and an r4i gold.

Nice that it works on the newest firmware 11.5 to install cfw without having to downgrade. Hopefully if possible it gets fixed to that it works on n3ds/xl.

do i have to re flash my card right then can i just reflash it with the backup of it i have downloaded? i'm really only using it just for NTRboot only no ds games.

There's a backup on the guide and everything. It even tells you how to reflash it. Just make sure you skip that part until your done with the finalizing setup part and you should be fine.

The new Metroid one coming out in September iirc looks pretty sweet if you're into it. If I were in the market for a 3ds right now I'd probably wait for it.
