ah , an Android .
for a second i was wondering what O/S it'll be running .
i wonder how it'll be against the NGP/PSP2 . though i am pretty sure the PSP2 will beat it in terms of gaming since it is a dedicated gaming console .

LOL, how can a cellphone compete with a dedicated gaming portable?

Anyway, NGP will run everything that Xperia Play will run.

This is aimed at another public, more like casual gamers that just want to game while on the bus or so.
NGP seems like the better platform for us real gamers.

Android has been mentioned several times before (though unofficially) and the Xperia line are AFAIK all Android.

The biggest suck ass point of this phone is that all DLC you have already bought/paid for on PS3/PSP will have to be RE-PURCHASED to have/play on the Xperia play

That was an old image; I think the centre of the keypad might have changed a bit since then.
They've also probably sorted that overlap in the top left corner...
