Who says you cannot overwrite a stub? IOS30 was stubbed in v4.2, and I overwrote it with DOP-IOS (I needed a vunerable IOS). Worked fine.

Or are you saying that you cannot overwrite a stub with the cIOS installer?

For whatever reason it wouldn't let him overwrite the stub when loading the cIOS Installer from cboot2. It gave him good ol' error -1035 when he tried. I remember that happening back when cboot2 first came out so that's why I suggested that he uninstall the stub from Wad Manager before trying again.

ok, so since I now have have the old cIOS rev 14 over my IOS 249 I should just be able to start Any Title Deleter from the Homebrew Channel right?

You'd have to use one of the ATD Mods that runs off of IOS249 since the normal one uses IOS36

Well I knew the "I am God" part of it was part of the program, but when I press 1 nothing nothing happens, even if I press it several times, I suspect this is because of the error I posted. I rebooted and tried again, same error.

we're finding out now, having problems booting ATD.

Once that's done, IOS222/223 will be removed (as 249 was removed by was already and will result in extra work anyways) and Hermes' cIOSes will be installed afterwards.

What are hermes' cIOSes used for anyways? For USB instrumentals for rockband/guitar hero right?
I read some time ago that you needed to combine ios37 and ios38 (38 base) and do some other stuff but I'm not sure what it was for again, not even sure if it was for the usb compatibility.

In fact, they only need to use NUSD and write 00000001000000f9 v65280 to create the WAD. I'm not sure if there is another way to uninstall the stubbed IOS249.

ATD doesn't know to look for the modified cboot2 IOS, so it wouldn't work. The only apps I know of that do work in it is the wad manager that came with the cboot2 installer and the cIOS Rev14 installer.

Well, panzea is testing if ATD mod is working in order to uninstall all stubbed ones (222/223/249/250) so you can freely install Hermes' cIOSes and Wanin's cIOS.

Yups. Just get those four stubs and delete them in turn and you'll be good to go.
