hey, can i manually input/rename sav files to .nds.sav?or does it require the converting program for the saves to function properly?i've tried both those methods to no avail.

can any one pin point me to what's going awry?

if you can't use a simple program that renames it instantly, do it manually.

to answer your question, the program is only used if you have many savs and don't want to rename all of them manually.

yes, i have renamed them to .nds.sav , as stated in my first post.the persisting problem is that wood doesn't or isn't reading my saves.i've read through several FAQs and i still don't get the hang of it. is there a specific setting i need to check off in the firmware???

Select+L (Hold down select, then press L) - Shows or hides all files.

from 1.09 this
changed to "L+Select (Hold down L, then press select) - Shows or hides all files." and also L+Y added to show global options.

I did this too and it still don't work.

edit: wait it did work but not with mario and luigi bowser thing.

Firstly, thanks for this, I've run through and put it onto my R4 card and its all working great.

However, one small niggle..... The time displayed is wrong and i cant find out how to correct it. Any Ideas?

It will be on your main ds settings. there is no difference in the clock as the original. you best look into the factory settings of your ds.

Now my problem Wood r4 is not working how it should it plays games but the menu is not working the topscreen is solid blue
the bottom screen is black with with a pic of a microsd a slot 2 cart and a folder
once i click the msd it shows all my folders but not my names for them

you forgot copy __rpg to your micro sd card.

copy the saves out of the GBA_SAVES folder (or GBA_SAVE or whatever it's called) into the same folder as the roms and rename them .gba.sav

Edit: This is assuming you mean you have an original 3in1 that works natively with Wood and you are just clicking the .gba game in the game list and loading it that way and not using GBAExpLoader any more.

No it will not.

I recently upgraded to Wood R4 (not clone). Everything worked fine until a few moments after I started adding themes. Now everytime I load my R4, the upper screen is solid blue (similar to a previous post in this topic) and the lower screen is pitch black. No words appear or anything, it's like if I didn't have a theme at all. Yes, __rpg is in the root_r4 folder in my SD card. Help please?
