Hi, this is a project I wanted to do time ago and delayed it because some personal problems, but I finally got something that "works" as intented, but keep in mind that this is far from done or a least for an early release.

What is Lima3DS?
Is a fork of both D9 and Luma3DS which its only intention is to be a rxTools-like CFW+Toolkit in a nice-looking frontend.

Todo list:
- A nicer GUI like PastaCFW and rxTools 3.0 with customizable theme.
- Merge boot.bin into arm9loaderhax.bin (not sure if I will do this at all).
- Bring support for every entrypoint.
- An assist tool in form of CIA for updating and managing other things relevant to Lima3DS.
- Both button-pressing and grub-like chainloader.
- EMUNAND/RedNAND formater.
- Re-add other skiped tools from D9.
- A LOOOOT OF REWORK.

I will give a pre-release as soon as I can, but a working code is up on my github if you want to compile it:

As you can see, there is a lot of rework to do on the UI.

Excuse me if my gramar is not the best.

NOTE: None of this is my work, credits goes to D9's and Luma3DS's respective devs, as I said, my only intention is make a rxTools-like frontend.

You only need the same envoriment you need to compile Luma, compile Lima3DS with "make a9lh", then you need LimaCFW's "boot.bin" (see readme from Lima3DS's repo), compile it and the result arm9loaderhax.bin rename it to "boot.bin" and put it into "/lima" folder, look at resources folder at the github, there you can get the backgrounds from the screenshot (put them into "/lima" as well).

All that is gibberish to me. ;_;

I'll try.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, my PC can't run most AAA games so i wont

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
