Click to expand... Yes, it works the same as putting on a SD card. Just create a folder caller WAD on the root of the drive for wiiware and a folder called APPS for homebrew. This guide has some good info.

If you mean install the WiiWare to HDD to save room on NAND, then read about TriiForce, it does just that (saves are saved/read from HDD too)
