I've a silly question.

Is it necessary to have a BIOS (SCPH 1001.bin) to load games that require it?

Can't I use another one like SCPH-101 for NTSC games and SCPH-102 for PAL games?

Either one should work fine.

Being old, and because I tested at those times:
@CheeseBurgerwithLove: I reccommend you PSXONPSP660.BIN bios, as it's can read PS1 games all region
Other bios are SCPH-1001.BIN (for NTSC-U games), SCPH-7502.BIN (for PAL games), SCPH-7000.BIN (best for jap)

SCPH-1001.bin or SCPH-101.bin works best (for NTSC-U games), SCPH-7502.bin (for PAL), and SCPH-7000.bin (for NTSC-J).

Should you experience problems, try swapping out for a different region BIOS. After all, WiiStation isn't accurate compared to most emulators, but I'm sure you'll get the gist of things.

i see you only have CHD files. Don't worry, i didn't remove CHD support here.

In your root, wiisxrx --> bios --> SCPH-1001.bin

Latest WiiStation build as of September 18, 2024

What's new:

• Update with latest PCSX-ReARMed changes until git 31a12b0 (notaz).
• Update Lightrec to latest until git ea20362 (pcercuei).
• wiiSXsettings.h logic cleanup and lines fixes.

I also included my changes for remove the support for CCD, IMG, SUB since they are problematic on WiiStation.

Hi ya. I've just been having a bit of a play with this build and I must say i'm loving the way the fast load is working on the various fighting games I've tested.
The only issue I seem to have with this build is that when I auto load a game through wiiflow I'm having to press reset on the wii to enter the wiistation menu to have my controller set up picked up and then resume game to have working controls.
I wasn't having this issue with the previous build I was using which was dated 10/07/2024. I cant remember the version but maybe the date will help.
Again much respect for your works. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but my settings are exactly the same as the previous build I was using.

Hi all, really enjoying Wiistation here, a whole new life to my wii!

Imho the wii advantages are 240p resolution and lightgun support through wiimote. The only option missing for me now is the chance to turn on/off the crosshair, as you need it to calibrate the gun in some games and then turn it off to enjoy the full experience of aiming.

Somebody knows how to do it? (or if it's even possible?)

Hello guys enjoying Wii station to the fullest, note: idk why but there are some games that don't get the analog and I'm not referring to ~97 games, also is difficult to play strafing games with GameCube controller as you have to press all the way or z and shoulders, and also I'm getting stuttering on some games, and I tried all options and the stuttering continue specially on PS starting screen. Thanks

Almost all games works. Some have some glitches or minor performance problems, but they're still playable. GPU rendering is under active development (see Github page for details).

Gaussian Interpolation is basically the low pass filter added to sound effects and music, same as real hardware, THIS fixes the scratchiness of audio samples in games like SotN and Alone in the Dark 3

Does anyone experience emulator crashes when you exit? I've had this happen a few times. I'm playing Spyro 2 and everything is fine except for that.
Maybe it's because of the memory card's auto-save?
