Thanks a lot SaulFabre! Does Thunderforce V now work after passing the first boss with Lightrec on?
(there was a BSOD just after passing it)
Not sure since i didn't tried that game, but if the game still doesn't work with Lightrec, try using the 'new' PPC Dynarec.

It is probably the best archival format though for PSX games.
Not really. Redump only uses bin+cue for PSX games, which is probably the most reliable set these days.
some people probably will not want to have to modify/patch their (clean 1:1) game(s) to be able to play them on the emulator.
They don't need to delete their clean image, just patch a copy, like they would do with a translation.

Unfortunately, the issue with CCD+IMG+SUB won't be fixed (https://github.com/xjsxjs197/WiiSXRX_2022/issues/139).

Thats why i added my change for remove support for CCD/IMG/SUB in my latest build.

WiiStation since a few builds ago it has support for loading .SBI files for PAL games which are LibCrypt encrypted.
I just removed the function for load IMG, CCD and SUB files.
SBI loading function remains untouched, so you should still be able to play LibCrypt games if you have the correct .sbi files.
Yep i started playing ffix pal spanish version with its .sbi in the same folder and runs perfect

I needed to delete about 15 games that were in img format, but I already downloaded some new ones in bin/cue
What impresses me most about this latest update is how great the emulator speed is, most games run at 59.80 fps

what are the exceptions? Sillent Hill w/dither? Tekken3?

Did some test with the big one, Tekken 3, and let me see:

Old GFX - Uninterleaced, runs at 50-55 fps and dips to 45fps, 60fps Interleaced, jitter and stutter is still there on this one.

New GFX - pretty much the same, but with more jittery and stutter (does not affect audio)

Overall New GFX does sadly bring back the jitter/scroll stutter at full force, particularly VERY noticable on any game that runs at 60fps, whereas old GFX doesnt have the stutter, seems the former hasnt been optmized for games that run over 30fps in engine XP.

SOTN still runs with stutter with dithering on both, but pretty much perfect on Old GFX. (with no dither)

Seems that all games around both modes got a speed boost, but smooth playback still in an issue on heavy titles like good old tekken3.

By the way, i just realized, this is gonna be the 2th Anniversary of this project!

Last edited by MeXen,
I don't think you needed to do that. If the dumps were good and there were no audio tracks, the img file should be identical to the bin file (same hashes).
I was already thinking about exchanging these files for bin/cue, it just motivated me more

Guess I'll stick with the older builds for a while
