Hey guys in the past I had a ton of THP trailers, I recently lost them when my HDD's prematurely and very sadly died. I was starting to get a collection going with a friend here but then he got banned, no idea why or how so basically I'm stuck with only few thp trailers only.

I was hoping we could either get a database up on the Wiki really for everyone to d/load, but if not, does anyone have a large collection/library of THP trailers that they can make available for myself and others to d/load?

BTW thanks fix94, r1060 is looking really good, bostonBC hey you should try r1060 and see if WiiFlow still dumps loading games back to back with your ultimate game count HDD lol.

Finally had some free time and compiled and tested r1060. It is AWESOME! No more crashes at all. I ran over 20 games back to back in between scrolling from A-Z on my 1200 game 2TB drive which crashed r1055-1059 after just a few runs.

r1060 looks great to me. I'll try it on my monster 4TB with over 2000 games in the morning and report back.

I'll check it out tonight MS no access to Wii until then.

If your up to date with your cIOS either using d2x v10r52/53 and cIOS249 with base 56 or cIOS250 with base 57 the game should launch. If the auto setting for cIOS is not loading the game, under game settings try manually choosing 249 or 250.

If that doesn't do it then try changing the startup options and choosing "Force cIOS Load 249" you can also use Fix94's Startup Editor which can be found here.
Finally if that doesn't work and it doesn't work on any other USB Loader I would say find another source or try re-d/loading the game.

Just checked my 2TB 1200 game system and categories are still working nicely for me with r1060. What kind of problems are you seeing?

Just looked at my cat4 ini, and it reset to default. Damn i wish i had backed that up!

Edit: Thankfully I hacked my roommates wii a month ago, just G'd the cat4 ini from there. :)

does anyone here use the plugins for wiiflow. i was just wondering if i can use wiimc.dol for a plugin (im guessin so)? and also will it return back to wiiflow when i quit it or would the dol file have to be modded? i no i can use m-playerCe but it seems wiimc has a bigger list of files it can play

It would have to be modded to be able to be used as a plugin. As-is, it doesn't respond to arguments.

I think it's been attempted or looked into not sure why one wasn't released, forgot if there was some trouble with it or not. Either way if one were to make a plugin, WiiMC+ would be much preferred over the weak WiiMC.
I had never heard of this. Looks interesting now that I start looking into it. You happen to know where I could look at the code?

not a clue maxternal but if i find it i shall post it back here. im hopeing it can be done and i thought maybe it was just to do with the arguements of the apps (wiiflow/wiimc). to my understanding wiiflow can load majority of dol files but will not return back to wiiflow. example i used the mplayer modded dol and it returns to wiiflow but using the original dol file (unmodded) wiiflow loads it but when quitting it quits to homebrew channel

not sure if thats quite what your looking for
says on google its open source

Yeah, that's apparently the code for normal wiimc.
Actually, as far as making a plugin, I don't think wiimc+ actually supports any more formats than normal wiimc so it would probably do fine.

I'd still be kinda curious about the source for wiimc+, just the same, though.

Wiiflow r 1060 is working very well. I deleted wiiflow.ini and it worked fine. I need help as to upgrade the wiiflow with internet. When I try to update wiiflow does not recognize the version but then displays the correct version. When I try to download it notifies the connection failed. How should I procede?

+1 for WiiMC(+) plugin.
Feature list for v14 WiiMC+ release - nice - found a link on the 'temp (shhhh)

You can launch WiiMC directly (without browsing titles) from the sourceflow using the autoboot function - have a look at the 3rd post in the "sourceflow" thread link in my sig.
In fact here's a link to the post

Add these lines to your source_menu.ini:
http://gbatemp.net/threads/sourcefl...uests-artwork-discussion.356052/#post-4822484[BUTTON_XX] (where XX is an unused button number)
source=homebrew
autoboot=wiimc
image=wiimc.png
title=WiiMC

If you have Abz's masterpack, you already have this

GphqYw6.png

(it's not great - I'm open to contributions - :) !)

n.b. If you prefer the source menu, just copy the image from the small_covers folder into the source_menu folder

WiiMC+ is far more advanced. Much more control over aspect ratios, audio delay on the fly and like 60+ other improvements. When I get home I'll shoot u some links with more info and talk to the dev about the source code.

mastershoes my categories file was still intact when I updated and launched r1060, so dunno what happened. Glad u got a hold of a back up

EDIT: Didn't realize Pimpin' already ninja'd me to the link and info. Pretty much an overview of the improvements that can be found in WiiMC+ can be found there and if you scoll to the very bottom you'll see a quicklist and it's relevant section on what it does. There's also a forum with a detailed Walkthrough of WiiMC+ Enhancement Pack v14 here. The latest version is v14H and can be found on the same forums.

Maxternal I shot jhb50 a PM hopefully he responds, It's been ghost town on the forums there for a while now lol.

    A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

    anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

    if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
    still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
    It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
