ok my wii has v4.3u firmware what Lego Star Wars game should i buy to softmod? "LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga" ? or a different Lego Star Wars thanks

a lot of lego games can be used to do the mod, also SSBB can be used, just pick one off the games that work

I'm using 2.2 rev346. Every time I start wiiflow, it asks me to pick a partition that my games are on like it never remembers what I picked the last time. Is that normal for this revision?

If you use multiple partitions, then yes...i believe atm,. rev 346 always defaults to the first partition...
Maybe you can adjust that in the wiiflow.ini file..

My wiiflow doesn't seem to work anymore and its really frustrating trying to fix it. I used trucha bug restorer 1.14 to restore IOS36 and afterwards I used cIOS Installer (rev20b) to install cios 249. Can anyone help me I dont know whats going on?

be more specific... is it not detecting your usb drive? is it not launching games? how are you launching wiiflow, forwarder or hbc?

Its not detecting the USB drive and im sure I already installed cios 249. I even plugged it in while the wii was off to make sure both my external and wii would be on at the same time and its still not detecting the USB drive. What do you think could be wrong?

Hello all. Trying to get sam and max to work I guess I must be missing something. I've gotten SSX and House of the Dead to work with the alt-dol's (in wiiflow) but I'm not seeing the alt-dol's for Sam and Max. I've gotten CFG boot loader to work and see the alt-dol's in it but I don't see how to do it with Wiiflow. The Wiiflow site implies the that the files are inculded and I believe I see them but I don't understand why it can't find them. It found the SSX and House of the Dead with out me having to do anything so I figured I didn't have do anything but go into the menu for Sam and Max Season one and just select the alt-dol but there are none there. What am I missing here? Thanks for your help.

edit: I do have the 2.2-rc1 pack and have the R3X.wdm file on my sd card in \wiiflow\codes\wdm\R3X.wdm what do I do with the file? do I have to rename it and move it to the harddrive or to the sd card /apps/wiiflow???

unpack the complete pack to your root dir of the drive where wiiflow is installed, when the wdm file is available, you will get an extra bar when you select sam & max, use that new bar to select the episode you would like to start, when you need more help come to irc

OMG, thanks so much!!!! I don't know how I missed that! I guess I was so fixed on the alt-dol's that I was hitting the gear for the settings so quick I never saw the bar for the menu on the bottom (and it blended into the bottom of the game cover too). I knew I was missing something really obvious. I've got to learn to slow down.

BTW, I tried IRC first but it didn't seem like anyone was there (over an hour last night). I got one rely but they just pointed me to the 2.2-rc1 pack (that i already had installed).

Thank you so much again! You saved me from having to switch over to cfg loader. I like wiiflow so much better and it's easier interface for the kids to understand.

if you go to IRC,it can take a while before someone answers, but i'm glad you got it working, when you have problems with the WDM files in r304, you can try r346, it has better support for wdm, but it has some bugs that might irritate you.
So it's your choice

No it isn't , but this list is from one of our wiiflow testers:

1 : Flip sound is gone..
2 : Then you hit a button, you got some scratching noise..
3 : Bannersound wont play again after you exit synopsis..
4 : In gameveiw if you scroll long enough you can get a stack dump..
5 : installing games is still broken..
6 : Support for d2x v21003 and v21004 is needed..
7 : in r304 alphabetical search works without updating wiitdb, but not in r346..
8 : with the newer r21 (d2x) the wiimote wont sync directly

Offcourse people are allways welcome to post bugs here..

When one of the developers is ready to pick wiiflow up again, i am sure he will look on this forum also, as he has done before.

No, that is another bug, sorry for not mentioning it, you just triggered my memory.
This bug has to do with the gamelist cache not working correctly, if you want to correct this manually, delete the folder named "lists" in the ":\wiiflow\cache" folder.
This bug is in rev.304 (i am not sure if rev.346 is using it).

No, that is another bug, sorry for not mentioning it, you just triggered my memory.

This bug is in rev.304 (i am not sure if rev.346 is using it).

um.... Etheboss there is actually no folder named lists that exists on the SD or HDD anywhere.
I tried creating one, but still the same.
Very weird it is starting to do this. I actually tried getting another copy, and that particular game is the same, no title appearing bellow the covers.
any other suggestions?

btw, where can I get r346 from?

i'm on 346 an have all the bugs, was wondering why i can't install using wiiflow, it was working along with title names working under the covers, just tried to install mater nation for son an it would show up, but wouldn't play at all. so stuck using disk. but i use channels now. that seems to work good.memory/stack dump when looking at covers. so is wiiflow dead? i guess cfg looks better.
