Rayman 2 had some unusual glitch at load up where it started part of a race level & froze a couple of times, then about 30 seconds later loaded the main menu fine. After that, it was playable with minor sound buzz and a few undisplayed graphics.

Also, Clayfighter: Sculpter's Cut was playable as well.

Both probably ran about 75% speed.

I got to try this out.
Does BK work?

banjo? 1 is playable slows down on the bigger levels and has graphic glitches, textures not showing
banjo 2 is unplayable it's slow ALL the time, has graphic glitches all the time too.

Awesome work, emulating Mario 64 with this feels way better than the VC version to me. I also tried Quest 64 to check if it's really as bad as people seem to think it is and I was really surprised by how well it ran and how clean it looked.

This is very impressive, even more so than WiiSX. As with any beta release, even working games have a large amount of glitches, but they are playable. I realize that the N64 wasn't designed around 16:9 displays, but I wish the emulator had a scaling option. Wave Race 64 plays in a smaller window on my widescreen display, with a full black frame around the playable game.

Did you enable 16:9 in video options? Seems to work like stretch to fit, plus correct aspect ratio vor most bitmaps, so that spheres are perfectly round.

I can't see the lums in Rayman 2...
And they're quite important.

yeah the main problem with this emulator is the 2d sprites... they're invisible 50% of the time.

polygons works well at least

Give it a try. It runs well with some slight slow down here and there (like when you pass your barn for instance), but is quite playable.

Gex: Enter the Gecko almost works, but things too close to the ground (including Gex) disappear.

This is not going to stop me from playing though.

it was on the iso version that you could run with a modchip on older system menu's (its how i installed the hbc for the first time)

Did the N64 really have sprites at all? I think everything is done with polygons and billboards. Even Mame is just a calculated image rendered on a flat plane facing towards your tv screen.

Mischief Makers -everything-
Yoshi Story -everything-
Harvest Moon -partial-
Killer Instinct Gold -characters-
Mario Kart -character karts-
Doom64 -enemies-

All those were 2D sprites. Some games used only 2D renders, like Mischief Mackers, other combined 2D sprites with 3D backgrounds.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 worked pretty well. It's very playable but all the text is garbled with random images. And the controls are really bad on gamecube controller because you have to use the c stick for everything. Hope the add support for custom controller mappings soon.
