Wii U supports 3D TVs

I love how people are flipping shit over this, when PS3 has exactly the same kind of "support" for 3DTVs as this will. Open option for the devs. Every word you can say against this goes straight at the PS3 as well.

Actually, Sony demoed using a 3D TV for splitscreen multiplayer with Resistance 3. Basically they use the 3D so each player only sees their screen on the whole screen. Reports say it works relatively well, given what it is. It's not unreasonable to say this can't be the case with other games and systems.

Good idea, but some actually like the 3D effect. It doesn't remain 3d for each player, correct?

3D + screen for each player sounds sweet.
