Tbh it works really well on mine. I used the XAMPP Control panel instead in the end but it seems really quite stable I have had 1 Race Attack come up in about 20 goes or so just to test, it always seems to revert back to the pause menu without failure! Huge progress today, wicked big respects to the guys!!!

It means your browser state isn't correct for the browser exploit to run. Just keep trying (something simple like examples/exit) and it will eventually work.

man if the wiiu crashes so many times for official developers too then I understand why nobody writes stuff for it, by now I'm at a point where the action of downloading a 2kb elf file makes it impossible to exit the browser, it'll always crash just after the act of downloading it. Progress goes by so slowly its quite difficult to not just throw out my console out of the window :P

Tried running tcp gecko and connecting, but I get an error

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

I'm thinking of buying a new Wii U. The one I already have is still on 5.4 but I'd like to update that one if I get another so I could play new games like Super Mario Maker. The only issue is almost all my games were digitally bought off of eshop. So my question is. Is there a way to copy games from one Wii U on a higher firmware to another Wii U on a lower firmware preferably without deleting the games on the Wii U on the higher firmware?

is there a compile of TCP Gecko that is using a Release target rather than Debug?

(by tcp gecko I mean the .net app portion)

    @SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

    I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

    I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

    So that version is semi rare
