I have a Wii U that has been fairly awful when it comes to using the internet. I've ignored it for the last several months because Nintendo continually insisted that it was my router's fault or that it was due to wireless interference. (despite the fact that every other device works, that I've gone through three routers and that I've have had them edit my router settings for hours on end)
Anyway, it seems like I finally got someone to allow me to send in the Wii U for repair, but I realized that the HBC I have on Wii Mode might stop the Wii U from getting fixed.
So my question is this- is there any way to either prevent them from getting into Wii Mode during the repair, or even better to remove the HBC from Wii Mode in a way that they won't be able to find it?
Thanks for reading this! I realize it's probably a stupid question, but I know how Nintendo can be with stuff like this. I'm just hoping that a repair can get this thing working.
