Run V2 yes.

V1 only hides the channels using the Traucha signer exploit.
Which could lead into your Wii getting bricked later when the IOS37 apears.
Dont worry just run V2 and youre fine then they are gone FOREVER.

if you are on an x86 mac, imgburn should work through WINE (or is it DarWINE on a mac?)

Using crossover it run imgburn but imgburn fails to find any drives this blows!!

I really do not want to install Windows just for this damn file!

yes it seems waniniko has run a fowl with his hosts wiinews so youll have to do a google search for it.

if u play ntsc titles on a pal wii and dont brick block your games its best not to use this tool and put up with the dual channels cos if u remove them ull have to update again when u insert an ntsc disk.

Yep, I used this and already thank its creator, but I still have a question...
Can I upgrade my pal WII with SSBB jap version ?
because before using channels removers (both v1 and v2), I did that, and all worked perfectly exccepted that i did get dual channels...
but now, after using this tool, i do not know if it is still "safe" to upgrade again by the same way (with SSBB jap) ?

*Obtained* I'm about to remove the Duped (J) channels, but I want to remove the (USA) version channels too, to save space. Will it brick my wii or not?

You want to use the version which matches your Wii region.

If you have an NTSC-U Wii you should use the USA.elf

sorry if this was covered before i couldn't be bothered reading through 9 pages but isthis the best way to remove the homebrew channel no limit version (not that i want to atm but just incase) or do i just delete it through the Wii system.

If you installed it via wad you should use the wad uninstaller. If not I believe it is safe to delete it through the data management menu.
