Hi, I want to get my ds and wii online.

I've got a usb dongle from when I had a wired broadband connection at my last digs, but now I've moved into a new shiny flat and moved up in the world and got a wireless network set up. Its WPA enabled at the moment, which is ok for the wii, but the ds needs a WEP. I can set it to WEP 128bit easily enough.

The question is should i set the router to WEP or use the dongle?

I used to to have a super slow connection in the last place which meant the dongle lagged when someone surfed on the tinternet, now got a regular asdl broadband speeds, 5mb i think, (utorrent achieves 500kb download speeds now against the 50kb it did in my last place) , is it likely to lag if someone surfs?

I also just got a AceKard with AKAIO recently will the dongle work with the roms and homebrew?

My neighbours all seem to have a wireless networks set up so little chance of them being thieves, but I'm not that clued up on wireless, is there major danger from wep hacking?

Thanks for any help you can provide,

use your dongle
and keep with your WPA on your router
even tho theres a few wireless network floating around hackers will still hack into which ever network they can get them self into and use your internet, and since you have a dongle you might as well use it instead of letting your guard down on hackers there might be

bottom line use your usb dongle =]
