Final Fantasy 5 was enjoyable in the terms of the battle system and gameplay and less for the story especially for the US version, it's practically a joke game with an excellent battle system. The Japanese version is better in the story department but I found it less enjoyable than other FF games. For story, it's all about Final Fantasy 2, 4, and 6.

I haven't played 4 (dunno why, but I can't get to play it), but I played all the other ones. And I probably enjoy the quirky story of FFV more than the one in FFVI.

And FFVII has obviously the best story of them all

At the moment I am trying to complete a FF every month.
So far I have done FF7 and FF5, Almost done FF4 (training for final dungeon) but next I may either do FF8 or FF3, if I can find a good translation.
