I would say that I fanboy stuff. The disclaimer? It's that I know that its my opinion and doesn't (shouldn't) be used as leverage to try to get people to like what I like too. Most of the the time I find that if I am guilty of fanboy'ing or see someone fanboy'ing, its because of a particular facet of a game/product/idea that you have fallen in love with, despite flaws.
I am an Android Fanboy - Mostly because of the freedom that it gives me. Launchers, different apps for a single program (tweet deck instead of twitter, any number of messengers). The other side is Apple and iProducts. Which are solid phones. High polish, tight ecosystem, and direct support from the creator company.
I fanboy certain games like Dragon Quest, and am fully aware of their drawbacks. I think that is important.
