I would say that I fanboy stuff. The disclaimer? It's that I know that its my opinion and doesn't (shouldn't) be used as leverage to try to get people to like what I like too. Most of the the time I find that if I am guilty of fanboy'ing or see someone fanboy'ing, its because of a particular facet of a game/product/idea that you have fallen in love with, despite flaws.
I am an Android Fanboy - Mostly because of the freedom that it gives me. Launchers, different apps for a single program (tweet deck instead of twitter, any number of messengers). The other side is Apple and iProducts. Which are solid phones. High polish, tight ecosystem, and direct support from the creator company.
I fanboy certain games like Dragon Quest, and am fully aware of their drawbacks. I think that is important.

Yes, I admit be being a fanboy :bortz2:

I only really have Nintendo stuff as far as games go. I mean, I have stuff on PC on Steam but that's about it.
Wouldn't call myself a fangirl though, I just don't have a reason to have Microsoft or Sony consoles because anything I might want to play that is on Playstation/xbox, I can get on PC.

TBH I don't like the idea of people being fanboys or fangirls, it just means you blindly love one thing and hate everything else, even though you've never actually even tried any of it.
(And if you only liked, say, Nintendo, and didn't like Sony nor Microsoft because you tried all of them and only liked Nintendo, that doesn't make you a fanboy/fangirl, just means you have an opinion. :P)

This website is called GBATemp. GBATemp. GBA.
I think we all know what we are fanboys of.
DS-Scene? ;p

Generally the real fanboys (you know, the annoying ones) wont even admit to being one.
That's the general mindset of the "toxic" fanboy -- defensive, lacking humility, stubborness. (or attacking the fanboys of brands they don't own whenever they're hyping something)
