I do

I like to encode my favorite YouTube vids into DPG. Sometimes I encode full movies from DVDs, but I do it mostly for my younger cousins. I still prefer to watch my movies on DVD/Blu-Ray.

I did last year, for watching my favorite anime in class.
Now, I have to take my laptop (I'm going to an IT school).
So I'll just watch it on my top.

I used to watch Amazing Spider-Man Animated Series, Batman Animated Series (the good one) & Justice League animated series plus various films I converted.

And then I got a PDA.

I convert/encode them my self and watch them on sakura. I think most of the videos have come off of youtube, etc.
It's pretty hard to find what you are looking for pre-converted. that is, if they are even out there......

I use it as a movie player a lot......Even at home, I lay in bed and watch movies (mostly, I encode divX or DVDs and have my own collection of 6-7 DVDs full of encoded movies for M3)..

I used to listen to music on it back in the day when I had a G6. Now I mean if I want to watch something that I download from the internet I'll watch it on my computer. I don't really bring my DS out of the house. much less use it anymore

Nope. Never. Why would I want to watch shows I like on such a tiny tiny screen?

Even my iPod touch I would never use to watch anything other than a trailer.

If I want to watch something I'll watch it on my TV or monitor...

Just coded the Pre-Election-Simpsons-Ep & My Name Is Earl S04E12 on Friday as I had to take a train ride for approx. 50 mins & I hate people, even more in trains, when they smell or talk crap etc. pp. So watching things is a good alternative for standing if you don't wanna sit next to some ugly Mofo eating his pizza in a completely crowded place like that train on a Friday. I use BatchDPG btw, NOT Super, and I am quite satisfied with the results as it's coding really fast!

What converting software gives people the best results with viewing on M3 Sakura?
I use BatchDPG and it works great with sakura.
My settings for it are:

Video:
Framerate: 20 Width: 256 Bitrate: 386 Passes: 1
Profile: Med Height: 192 Max bitrate: 512 Resizer: Spline 16

Audio:
Bitrate: 128 Samplerate: 32768 Mode: Joint stereo

That works pretty well with sakura, and the audio is never out-of-sync.
Although I haven't tried it with videos longer than about half and hour....

I've got Vista Ultimate Sp1 64bit - BatchDPG works flawlessly here.

I love having all 3 Futurama Movies on my DS for only ~700mb hehehe

PS: Sportsmaniac i'm using BatchDPG 1.52 if that helps, with AviSynth 2.5 Final

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
