I am looking to purchase around 100-200 or so blank DS cartridges, that can self boot up, and obviously want to spend as little as possible as I will be buying them wholesale. I know about the Ninjapass DS and other similar DS flash cards, but seeing as how they cost more than $35 each it would be stupid to buy a bunch of those. I want each cartridge to run 1 game only just like it would if I had purchased it in the store. My goal is to make physical copies of every game, so I can have a full collection of DS games. I am NOT looking for one cartridge that holds multiple games.

If anybody could point me to a resource or website that offers what I am looking for that would be much appreciated. Please share your thoughts and comments. THANK YOU.

Wanna burn commercial ROMs to those ? I haven't seen any around, I know a few people who wanted to use some for homebrew, but why aren't you fine with a multi-game flashcart ?!

Yeah you better buy the games directly... second hand games.

Unless you want to resell your copies on ebay and pretend they're original games... if that's the case then we're certainly not going to help you!

Just buy the games instead, much better.

And I don't think there are any singlegame-cart around like you want.

Just get a normal flashcart like R4DS or buy the games.

Even if they did exist, the people to ask about this would be the homebrew community and they will completely *lynch* you for the idea. If the soft "pirates" don't think it's a good idea then the programmers really, really won't

Plus it's a waste of money. It won't be a "full collection", far from it: no boxes, no manuals, no pretty stickers. And it'll be a nightmare to dig through all those carts looking for the one you want to play. If you were looking to make copies and sell them then you know where you can stick it, or if you are genuine and really were looking to do this then it's a very bad idea.

I already do have a G6 Lite and it works great but only holds around 6 games. But like I said this isn't want I'm looking for. I want to own EVERY game but don't want to drop around $30 per game at retail price. I don't really care too much if the game has a pretty little sticker on the front or if it, and it really wont bother me at all that the game isn't official. I just want to own them all.

No, I'm not looking to make copies and sell them. But I do know it's possible to do what I'm trying to do because of people who do this.

I figure if anybody can help me it will be here on GBATemp.

Finding the ROM images is not the problem. The problem is knowing how to transfer them onto a standalone cartridge. I was hoping there was somehwere I could buy them in bulk for cheap. I do not have the knowledge or resources to manufacture them myself.

What you're trying to do seems impractical, but that is from my point of view. You dont have to explain yourself, but we will help you if we can.

To my knowledge, Single burn flash cards for NDS are not widely available and IF made, probably hand-made by chinese e-bay pirates.

On a side note...

Well that would be a great thing to buy blank DS Carts...I would be interested to. That would make for perfect homebrew such a 1 DS Cart for Beup in another for more Homebrew, but what the HECK ANYWAYS I have a G6 lite so what do I need with theses. it would be great but there can be a lot of illegal stuff behide the empty DS SLOT 1 CARTS. People would start burning Commercial DS Games in saleing them to make money in saleing fake homebrew stuff plus they can sale bricking DS SLOT 1 Carts....Man It can be a good idea, but also be a EXTREMELY ILLEGAL IDEA!!! I would be greatly interested but no a good idea for some people..

Yeah you're right I guess it's a good thing that they're not readily available, for Nintendo's sake.

If you guys had any information at all to help me, I was pretty much assuming it would be a shoddy cheap looking Chinese or Hong Kong based website, as most of this "questionable/only legal via a technicality/illegal" type backup stuff usually comes from out that side of the world. Oh well.

So here's a question: How the hell do the people who copy games and sell them on eBay do it? Do they just manufacture the blank flash carts themselves in their homes or do they have a source where they buy the blank carts?? Basically I want to do what they have been doing, but minus the highly illegal reselling part.

Well people that do that I have never heard of them but if there people like that they first have to dump the NDS ORIGINAL CARD GAME or use one of the DS file download site then they work there magic...Plus if people that do that find a site where you can buy just a blank DS CART MOTHERBOARD there must be a Chinese or Other Language WEBSITE because i haven't found one in English...

DIDN'T MEAN ANY HARM TO CHINESE OR OTHER LANGUAGE PEOPLE...

If you're asking this type of question in a public forum, you probably to not have the technical know-how to actually implement your plan. Unless of course, you use someone else's work.

If you want to "own" the games, why not actually own them?

Want to be cool by saying "I have every game, but I didn't pay!" eh?

not a good idea anyway... the battery won't last long and the game will no longer save!
again you better buy second hand games, it'll probably be cheaper!

EDITED: Forgot to add Outphase quote

yeah I see what you 2 mean I only Have 11 Original DS Games until I seen a website that was selling DS FLASHCARTS I was wtf is that then I did about 2 weeks worth of research. Now I know what they are in I don't know why but I don't buy anymore DS GAMES since I have my G6 lite but I am planing to buy the Original Commercial games. So for now I am just testing US Version DS Games so when I know the ones I really like i can just order from gamestop.com the reason i am testing because everyone has bought a DS Game in took it home in put it in then after 5 Minutes of boring Game play you are like (OMFG Why did I buy this (Censored) Game!!! ) Then when you want to take it back it must be in original DS PLASTIC WRAPPING LOL

Because I'm not rich and don't want to drop 3K on the 100+ NTSC games that are out now..........? There are a few games that are good enough that I would purchase the commercial game. As for the others, I'd rather just put the ROM onto a cartridge. It's not a matter of bragging. But how cool would it be to have every game on its own cartridge? It's not that hard to print out a label. So as long as it looks similar to the real thing that's okay with me. I also know where to find loose cases and books, so it would be almost identical to the real thing.

So unless somebody can direct me to a .com.hk URL that sells these, then I guess my only other option is to research how to manufacture cartridge shells and make my own flash cartridges. Or the more likely option......live with my G6 Lite and give up on this idea. :'(

Oh well, at least this has been an interesting topic. And I know this is a questionable subject, thanks for not just yelling at me.
