Why Pay for stuff and STILL get a Pirate Copy? Dont EVER pay for Pirated material. I know, you dont pay for the material you pay for the service. but I rather save my money for the games woth bying!

Using Private Torrent Trackers and dl i full speed. and for the Seed back... Its feels good to share good stuff to others!

Sometimes usenet, sometimes torrents.

And @ Algot. It's like 10 bucks a month. Then just download really fast, and a lot. And you just saved €500. Or $, or whereever you live.

Monthly charges...shiiiiiiiiiit.

It's like $12 a month for unlimited download. That means for $12 a month you can download hundreds, maybe thousands, of dollars worth of software, music, movies, etc. at the full speed of your bandwidth.

I use verizon as an isp and they have a news server that comes with your subscription free. It just has a low retention. (The files don't stay up for as long as a pay service). But since I usually D/L 'em the day they come out or the day after it doesn't matter to me.
Who the hell actually NEEDS that much shit? I use torrents to get exactly what I want. Simple.

Monthly charges is bullshit fro stuff like that. Don't try to hold a debate about it, there's NO positive point about it.

What you need to do is...DON'T PAY for this...go to torrentssites its for free and you NEVER download PORN insted of what you think you download.

Hahaha nah, usenet for me cost me €7.99 a month (could be for free in my case) and I download as fast as my I-netspeed say I can and I always get what I download and not another cumshot.

You make a good point there mate. I will stick to torrents for now and have a look for a few decent private trackers.

Constant 4 MB/s downloads for anything? I use both torrents and usenet (usenetserver). With the newest released they are on a par. But for downloading odd or older stuff. Usenet is a clear winner. They also got a LOT more stuff that you really can't find anywhere else. Audiobooks for example.

That's not very a valid point.

Just the same, no ones needs to pirate games.

Some people like audiobooks. My boss likes them for long trips that require him to drive, for example.

usenet >>>> bittorrent

i'd much rather pay a few dollars a month to get what i want quickly and reliably than deal with torrent bs.

I've been thinking about using newsgroups for awhile now. I never did because everything I needed was either on a torrent site somewhere, an HTTP board, or found on RS or a RS clone. But now with everybody busting heads to get my favorite stomping grounds shutdown, and the relative ease of getting something yanked from RS, using a service that is literally older than the internets is looking better and better.

Ah, understood. He would rather pay 12.99 monthly to get his audio books, rather than pay the 2 dollars you need to go buy it from the store. Understood.

Only good advantage the audio book have over the "normal" books is that you can listen to it on the go instead of carrying just one book. Also the cost is high to cover the cost of hiring the voice actor.

That has nothing to do with what we're talking about.
