Where do I put homebrew apps on vWii?

Apparently you have to make a /apps folder on the root of your sd card and the homebrew channel reads from there, but thats for a regular wii, not vwii. Is it the same on vWii?

It's the same as the Wii. Apps for WiiU have a subfolder called WiiU.
