Hacking When do you think the r4 will get Real Time Save?

You guys probably know that the Superard team made firmware v3.0 for SCDS1- and it has Real Time Save, letting you save anywhere, anytime, in any game whatsoever. Pretty neat huh?!

When do you think the r4 will get this feature? Now that the SC team has proved it possible, many teams will try to add RTS to their carts. However, the r4 team seems to have less support for the r4 nowadays, but who really knows? They might suddenly add RTS

Stop with the inbuilt RAM crap. It doesn't. R4 should have it out before xmas. To beat SC (not like they haven't already), they will need to provide RTS with a higher compatibility (hence the reason for releasing it later)

I really doubt it. They still haven't even fixed any wii compatibility. Maybe 2 months. Of course, there is the possibility that you'll be right, and I'll be very happy if that's the case.

Feature wise, the R4 meets the need of playing ROMs. With that done, I doubt the R4 team will add any other feature and just fix compatibility. Thats just me though

If most other cards add RTS and the R4 doesn't get said feature, people would be less inclined to buy R4s.
I don't think the R4 team would like that :\

I don't think they'll ever support real time save. Doesn't bother me at all though...I wouldn't use it.

I don't think I can remember any games without some sort of save system on NDS anyway.

The R4 SDHC might support RTS but the R4 SD is too small IMO.

Frankly I don't see it coming, they seem to have ditched their cart, their latest updates are such minor updates, even slot 2 carts have better updates. If they are to add anything SDHC support should come first.

Heh.. If they ditched the R4, they wouldn't bother to release new updates.

Look at the DS-X team, for example. They TRULY abandoned the DS-X.
