Your english is fine. Minor capitalization issues but aside from that it's good.

I've heard for NAND backups you need at LEAST a 64GB card, you can go higher if you want.

Make sure it's formatted as fat32 and check it with h2testw!

I too just ordereda Sandisk 200 GB one on Amazon for 57€, seemed like a reasonable price and I hope thats enough for a while at least. I waited for a good opportunity to buy one since i have the Switch, so its not just for hacking purposes but mainly for eShop downloads.

1TB should be enough....

That said, considering the sale prices 200GB cards go by, I would get one of those.
Well, they're selling for half the price of a 256GB card, I think that should be a good point to take in mind.

The one I use is a Sandisk with a shitty UHS-1 speed, and it works fine.
I guess Samsung would also work fine.
I wouldn't buy some generic brand, I would also avoid buying them from fishy sellers, you know, the market is full of fake sd cards that report more memory than they actually have.

I would recommend SanDisk brand micro sdxc's. Most cards by them (but do check) come with a lifetime warranty. I used this when my music players card died and they paid for shipping and got a brand new replacement for no charge.

How are you supposed to store a 32GB(?) nand backup on an SD card thats formatted as fat32 (and thus has a single file limit of 4GB)?

Its unlikely that the NAND will be saved as an image on the fat32 partition, but will either be a partition itself or saved as an image on an exFAT partition.

Two options come to mind.
The SD card will be repartitioned by the some tool/CFW, like on the 3DS, with a whole partition being exclusively dedicated to the NAND.
The backup will be split into several 4GB chunks, old style.

Fair enough, that makes a lot more sense. Thanks for pointing it out!

....ack you're right.

I was thinking about Horizon's issues with exFAT. A payload bypasses horizon so it shouldn't really care.
