You can autoboot into EmuNAND 10 seconds quicker no chance of failing. (Almost)
Its basically like booting into SysNAND, but instead its EmuNAND.

Also you can update SYSnand to latest firm without worry, and still have cfw.

In addition to the above, hopefully soon it would be possible to have android-like recovery on your 3ds. If you screw up your system, you can restore a backup, no hardmod required. But this isn't happening like tomorrow.

You can run Decrypt9 from A9LH and restore NAND backups but there's a chance that if your system is messed up enough even Decrypt9 won't work. Not sure what it would take to prevent Decrypt9 from working though.
