What does this PS1 Piano icon mean?

It's been a question that has never been discussed before, But I am going to bring this up.

Honestly, I don't know what this is related to. I really would love to know it.

PlayStation was the first console with built-in piano lessons, truly groundbreaking.

ps1 doubled as a cd player, ps2 doubled as a dvd player, and ps3 doubled as a blu-ray player. No new tech afterwards that I know of, besides streaming. So ps4 and ps5 have nothing special.

In the older days Sony saw decent success in selling their consoles by including useful functionality like this at relatively affordable prices for their time, and with the additional functionality of playing video games as well, for many it was a no-brainer.

Yeah having a ps3 and eventually a ps4 as a Blu ray player was really nice.

Fun fact, the ps4 can't play audio CDs.

My dad's dedicated blu-ray player died one summer when it got way too hot, my brother gave them his ps3 to replace it because he didn't need it anymore after getting the ps4.

I bet even buying a ps3 secondhand would have been cheaper than getting a new blu-ray player lol and that was mid-late 2010s. Hopefully they keep up system updates for it so it can keep reading newer discs as the years go by.

(Do they even release new movies on blu-ray anymore? idk.)
