Hacking what do i need to install wiiware wads?

Run WAD Manager through IOS249 (cIOS).

i use wadmanager through 249.
and no i dont have preloader and i dont intend to install it.
i installed wads without a problem. its jut i cant run it from my sd.

As long as you have cIOS installed (IOS249) you should be able to install wads fine using IOS249 through wad manager 1.4 as you seem to do fine already. Running installed wad's through the sd card menu requires the patched IOS60 as also said by others.

The ultimate system menu 4.0 guide here had an IOS60 patcher app in the download, but it seems he recently edited that to:

10) Using Dop-IOS install IOS60 v6174 with Sig Hash Check.

instead. That should work fine as well so just grab that app from the guide or somewhere else and use it to install that IOS60 like that and things should work fine and if that doesn't work I think I still have that IOS60 patcher app and I could send it to you if you PM me.

oh i just noticed, after using dop-ios, i got this folder on my sd: 00000001 this normal? can i delete it to tidy out my sd? am i able to copy this to a bigger sd card and use it on the SAME wii?

You should be able to get rid of everything on your sd card and just put on whatever apps you want on it in the apps folder and whatever wads you want in the wad folder and if you installed bootmii, have the bootmii folder in the root as well with it's 3 files in it.

I think that folder is just something that had to do with the id of the IOS you installed or something and was just used to install it and shouldn't be needed anymore on the card since it's already installed on the Wii.

If you want to use a bigger SD card just put whatever things you want on it. There shouldn't really be anything on your SD card that is required for things to run except bootmii (which is pretty much entirely run from the sd card) Everything else is just whatever applications or wads you want.
