Well, here i am, in my new camp over at pasir laba camp, which is hell lot further than my previous camp.

But still, jecus is that place huge. Just by looking at it, i could tell the place is huge, at least on the bright side, the place that i am supposed to report is easy to find, after all, it's right smack in the middle, just from the gate entrance, i could see the entrance to "TRADDOC".

After i went there, i was told that the person that i am supposed to report to wouldn't be here till 8.30am, so i just sat down and start reading the newspaper available.

When it was time, i went over and reported to her, but she told me that she had told me to report to CFC(what the hell is that? ), strangely though, this was my first time meeting her and i dont recall getting that message in the morning nor on tuesday... After, i was directed by a clerk to fill in a bunch of forms, i have a lot of forms to fill in, my particulars, the usual stuff and then there's the forms related to computer usage, i was given the G50 form and i realized what my friend meant when he said that it isnt easy to get an ISAC card, the reason being is that there are alot of stuff required to be filled in and alot of those things, u will need your friend help to fill in and your parents as well. After all, please tell me who among u, knows your friend chinese character name or where he live? I sure as heck have no idea on those details...

Anyway, while i was filling up the forms, i was called for an interview by the Dy (as usual, i have no freaking idea what any of these short acronyms meant anyway) and we had a chat, he was really keen on the idea of me not doing my supply supervisor job and instead be a photographer/video editor, unfortunately, he seems like that type of guys who you might not want to say no to, so i just told him as subtlety as i can that while i am able to make simple slides with sound effect and those animation thing, making a video on the other hand, might not be easy to me.

Next, after the interview by him, i was given another briefing by Ms Mages, she's a DXO (i think). Anyway, i was told that i have to report there on monday/wednesday/friday at 7.10am which is nice and all except that well, there's no direct bus from my house and even then, my house is in bishan area, taking a journey from there to jurong already took up 1 hour and this is taking into account that i will be taking the 1st bus at 6am.. so which means i have only 10 mins to make it to the place which is impossible. When i voice my concern on that and request to stay in, all she said was that i am to ask around and see if anyone knows a more efficient route..

So, i asked the clerks, aside from another guy who live in ang mo kio, most of them live pretty near to camp..

Anyway, other than interviews and filling up forms, i was introduced to the warrant officer who will be taking care of me, mr gavwndr who seem to be a pretty nice guy. Anyway, he told me roughly what are some of my duties as the new CQ (once i am done with the course) which basically mean that i will take inventory of the stuff, top up items in the meeting room, set up rooms for vip, at around 1.30pm, close the book for the cookhouse. I gonna have to ask him when should i be started on these duties, since at the moment, i feel pretty lost at all the information.

Anyway, tomorrow, it's NSF day for us, which mean i will be out on an outing with the other guys. Yay

Another thing that i think i am gonna need to get used to though would be the "war" between the clerks and the store-men, seems like there's some bad blood between those 2, which hopefully i dont find myself in the middle of it.

That's it for now, i update if i recall any other thing, really tired from being stressed on just how the heck am i gonna be on time..

I post what we did tomorrow at tomorrow night. I probably will be out after the activities, still need to buy my new unit stuff..

Anyway.. sorry for the late update.

Friday

Well, as usual, everyone is late, it does seems like i am the only guy on earth who's actually early/on time for this sort of thing, or maybe it's just my luck..

Anyway, we had a visit to Fort Canning Park. For singaporeans, we probably know what the heck is this place, but for those who don't know, basically fort Canning Park is an important historical site in our history, that was the place where british signed the surrender form to the japanese army back in World War 2 and thus began singapore's dark ages.

Anyway, it's been over 6 years since i been there and you know what? Nothing much has changed, o sure... the registry of marriage is here (seriously??! I didnt expect that) and now there's a hotel fort canning (this to me is a stupid idea, there's isnt much to look at, and the pricing isnt cheap either, 275++ a night.. ) and there's a cooking academy.

Next we went to the national museum, now don't get me wrong, but i find being in a museum pretty boring, it might be fun to visit there like once every 10 years but beyond that, not much point, there isnt gonna be new stuff to the place, well, there are new exhibition, but to me, like i care?

After that, we had a photo session followed by a 5 dollar voucher for Carl JR and that's it, end of the day.

Well, i am planning to get started on making those gundam figurines tomorrow

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
