I just notice that we are lacking a video player for 3ds, there are few photo players. i know its not a matter of power because i see that the N3ds seems to handle html5 1080p videos(or at least dose a good job of downscale it) on the web browser.

i recently found Zootopia 3d for 3ds apparently it took them 10 hours to encode!!

Isnt there already streaming video to 3ds and moblex tool converter?

If you're not going above 240p, why bother with mp4!?!?!?!

hmm that hot 240p...
srsly tho most people use other devices to watch on and people dont think its needed

If such a player allowed for 3D output, there would be a legit benefit to having a video player on the 3DS as typically phones don't output in 3D like that.

You can either
  • Convert the video to JPGV and make it a cia (or I think there was a homebrew that can play them)
  • Convert the video to AVI using 3DS Video and watch with Nintendo 3DS Camera.
  • Convert the video to .moflex with the Mobiclip thing (Requires signing the Nintendo NDA) and put them in a cia.
Sadly all three of these options require a computer :(

Oh! Forgot to mention.
You can also upload the video to a server and go to the url with the web browser. :)

Well, if any video you're looking for is online, I'm willing to guess you can just use N3DS's web browser to navigate to the page where the video is located.

Given their first studio album is nearly 30 years old I'd consider it "old" at this point :( as much as it pains me to say so

My first mp3 player was a 4th gen ipod w/ click wheel, 20GB. Thing was slick as hell back then and I wish I still had it today. Kicker was when I got it, we still had win98 on our home PC, minimum requirements for itunes was winXP, and my parents wouldn't upgrade 😭
