The "brief description" is built into the template. Select it via the boot.dol option in the menu and all will become clear.

Long story short, when a channel is made a dol is used to give the channel something to launch... these are various dols.

YAL+ Comex is as following

It uses the YAL (yet another loader by Kwiirk) as the USBLoader

It also uses a boot/nand loader made by comex that is an improvement over the widely used boot loader commonly used in homebrew channels

To use simply copy the templates FOLDER from the YAL+Comex rar file into the WBFSManChan3.3.
Then after running WBFS Manager.exe under 'Channel Maker' and the select booter.dol choose YAL+Comex to use those files in channel

This one uses the same usbloader as default.ini (Official USBLoader 1.1) but uses comex boot loader

The "Old Version" detected my drive, no problem.

The "New Version" (which allows me to select a drive) causes a Run-time error '5'. Something about Invalid procedure call or argument. This happens when I select my drive letter (which is R, and the error pops up when I click "Scan for Drive". The program would exit immediately after clicking OK on the error message.

Still showing up. Just thought I'd let you know.

The Channel Maker isn't working for me. I just get a file called [Game Title] that's 0 bytes.

i also have that 0 byte thing with some games

no RBKP69

i have renamed it to Boomblox and it still does the same

after it reads the WBFS file it starts Packing wad.....

Runtime error 52
Bad filename or number

and the game does play from USB Drive

I got the same error with Broken Sword PAL. I have created about 20 banners and i have only encountered two problems. One with this game and another with Rune Factory Frontier NTSC-U which creates a 0 bytes wad.

just added quantum of solace from an iso with create wad ticked , used old wbfs version as the new one just froze , and that gave the same error as well

v3.3 crash when adding game and gave me error when i click "scan drive".. plus i don't see a size column!. v2. work fine!

HowardC, first of all thank you very much for your GUI (even if I don't use GUIs)

I have a little request for you, if possible

Because I have no wish to install all visual basic dependencies in my already heavy and slow Windows OS, could you make us a little .BAT which extracts the opening.bnr from an ISO using the wiiscrubber.dll? I never use GUIs (I prefer command line tools) and opening Wiiscrubber to extract opening.bnr from each ISO every time is a bit boring

And then in this way many people that get errors with your GUI will can use the channel maker option in "BAT" version

So could you make this BAT for us or at least could you tell us how to extract only the opening.bnr from an ISO using the wiiscrubber.dll (as your GUI does)?

I know this version comes with a wbfs.exe and a wbfsv.exe so which ones reflect the original and new versions this app uses for its options?
