StevensND, never heard of Lossless? You should check it out, works amazing for switch games. Or any game, movie, youtube, anime, for that matter.
In all fairness, I used LSFG 2.8.1 initially and it works great for smoothness, you really do get that 60FPS feel (with expected visual variations here and there).

But LSFG, when it comes to 30FPS to 60FPS adds an additonal amount of latency, and for this title specifically, being that you want accurate presses of 'A' in battle and whatnot, means you need to adjust to the difference in timings or turn it off everytime you go in battle.

LSFG is not great currently for 30 to 60 and adding the fact it's emulated aswell I would say, not a great option. Using this 60FPS mod with LSFG for a 120FPS experience on the otherhand is great and input latency is not really present. I personally don't ever visually see a difference between 60 and 120 for games like this, but you do notice it in this game at 120 when shaders are being built, it stays smooth.

Patch works on Ryujinx, but the button combination to revert back to 30 (whenever weird issues arise) does not work. The button combo does work on Yuzu though.

Would this not essentially halve the timing windows for attacking and blocking?
Sounds like currently it does that, yeah. We're super early on so hopefully some more refinements can be made in the future.

Hard to balance things too since I've always heard superguards in the original were a 3 frame window, so for the remake they had to have gone with 2 or I think more likely 4.

The other issue I've had was the turning animations being stuck on 30 fps.

Have noticed that things that requires rapid button presses, like running away and Yoshi’s ground pound are really hard to achieve a full bar with the 60fps mod against native 30fps. To be expected based on timings, that’s why I really appreciate the cheat to swap between 30 and 60, such a good idea.

I'm confused reading things like this because the timing windows seem totally fine and the turning animations don't look broken at all? So far it's just you and one other person who have said this as far as I can tell. Using it on Ryujinx, for what it's worth.

I'm having zero issues with the timing windows and turning animations. At this point, the only issue is the black save boxes/coins as far as I can tell, and that will require an emulator update to fix.

EDIT: That said, the spin jump in the overworld being broken is a dealbreaker. And given the shortcuts to disable the mods don't work on Ryujinx, I really don't want to have to setup Yuzu just to play this game, especially as none of the other issues will be fixed since it's obviously not being worked on anymore.

I haven't spent much time modding Switch games, do we think these FPS and text mods are going to improve or are they generally just put out and either work or don't?

I haven't played enough to say for sure that the timing windows feel off, I just saw other people reporting it.

I'm using Suyu 0.0.3 and the low FPS on the turning animations (it's whenever a character's sprite "flips" from left to right or vise versa) is very obvious- maybe it's only an issue in Suyu?

I am also on ryujinx and can confirm that, at the very least, super guards are broken with the patch enabled.

The paper game in the Pianta Parlor is also affected by the patch. It makes the other contestants run much faster so it's impossible to win. I don't know if guard/superguard timings are affected but I can still pull them off.

Hello quick question I noticed the files I downloaded from gamebanana for 60 fps were in .txt instead of .pchtxt does it matter?
Also just wanted to double check the 60 fps does have issues on ryujinx emulator on PC dropping to 40ish FPS and turning into slow mode in those frames?

Idk about your first question. I use it in ryujinx just fine as is. As for the second question, it probably depends on your computer. I never see it drop below 60, but have problems with some of the in game timings.
