Homebrew Way to remove black lines on Pokemon in Pokemon games?

I made a plugin for NTR for this specific purpose using the gateshark codes provided by ShinyQuagsire and Gateshark2NTR if you want to use it.

Alright I used the plugin but am I supposed to bring up a menu to activate it or something? There's still outlines.. (yes my game flashed green when I entered it, yes I'm on a n3ds)

Yes, NTR doesn't work on anything that uses extended ram (monster hunter, smash, Pokemon Sun/Moon etc)

Yes, press select to bring up the menu

In this cases I'm glad that I have my GW red card lol. Going to copy the Gateshark code and see if it works..

This video makes me think of a Pokémon Sun/Moon port or a third game for X/Y and Sun/Moon for Switch, Main PKMN Game on 1080 for Home and Go Console

I have just done it myself, and have confirmed it works. The game looks so much better now!

You're in it. You could also keep an eye on the Sun/Moon GateShark thread, and the general GateShark thread.

@shinyquagsire23 had a look for the equivalent data in XY/ORAS but couldn't find it easily. As such he's determined that it's going to take more time and effort than he is willing to dedicate to it.

So we'll have to wait until someone else finds it.

when they say Hex Edit the Code.bin

they mean the Code.bin in the actual CIA which would work with any of current cfws not just Luma

but that would mean sharing roms

i do hope you guys realize that, on the 3ds screen, it wont look as beautiful as on that video, right?
the 3ds only has so many pixels, so jagged lines are inevitable, with or without outlines.

I apologize if this is in the wrong spot, but I was wanting to know if there's some way to remove the black lines from the Pokemon in xy, oras, etc. I've seen it done in citra and I wasn't sure if it can be done on the actual console itself with NTR cheats or something.

You mean that you've seen Pokémon XY/ORAS in Citra without black lines? Someone knows how to remove them in Citra?
