Botch has posted a version of the Wiinja v2 hex for use with Datel's Drive Doctor, using this we can boot backups without using a modchip,(does require abit of soldering) but its worth it for the region free GCN and full GCN support, since he is making Xeno GC for drive doctor

Get the Wiininja V2 Hex that is bootable on the Datel Drive Doctor here

This is our first release
Wiinja V2 for Drive Doctor
Instructions This is very simple
Just use the original PC software to install the new firmware
Coming soon Wiinja Deluxe for Drive Doctor
Xeno GC for Drive Doctor
Specs
If you didn't know...
The Drive Doctor is an ARM 7 (Fiil the power)
Running at 60mhz (Fiil the speed)
16k RAM
64k Flash (The Datel folks have stolen 32k of that for firmware)
So much for all them tiny PIC devices

Straight from offical page, wow Xeno GC full GCN Support

because with this , you could make this a Xeno GC modchip, which would allow for far better GCN compatibility than any other wii modchip now

how is this a softmod?

from the looks of the install pics, its just the same as any modchip. I can't see anything revolutionary at all here.
Plus wasn't there already some type of mod made that uses the PC to change DVD firmware on the fly?
