When I ran the Wii Duplicated Channel Remover v2 it said "Reading Titles - 54 titles found".

After it removed my dupes I ran it again and it said 52 titles found. I thought it was a bit odd, so I installed a vc game and it then said 53 titles found and then 52 titles again when I removed the vc title.

So I looked at a few videos on youtube of people using this app and the ones I saw said 02 titles or 05 titles found on their screens.

I have about 7 titles on my menu which includes one bought vc game. I installed a couple of VC games the other day then removed them with the wad installer later but waninkoko's app tells me I have 52 titles installed on my wii?

If Nintendo gets around to scanning our Wii's for installed titles they're going to get a shock when they see I have more titles than my Wii could possibly hold!

I've noticed that Waninkoko has released Wii Duplicated Channel Remover v2.1, was this a bug?

I've experimented a bit more. I had the wad channel installer and uninstaller so I removed them which brought it down to 50 titles. I then removed the other channels which were Mario Kart, Mii Contest and a VC game but it stayed at 50.

So I formatted my Wii, copied over twilight hack so it's the only save game on my Wii and it now tells me I've got 36 titles.

Has anyone got a link for the new 2.1 version?

It might be including the system wads too. Try running Title Lister and see how many titles show up.

You're right, it is listing system titles. It does list all 36 which are 8 system channels, 4 hidden channels, the twilight hack save game plus another save game with only a 3 letter code, don't know what that is, and the rest are IOS versions although title 35 is System Menu vers.1.34 using FW IOS30.

It looks like 34 is the standard number if you take away the two save games although it's impossible to run the Title Lister program without the twilight hack so a fresh formatted wii must have to have 36 titles as far as I can see. Those others on youtube must have said 82 and 85 titles rather than 02 and 05, I'll have to check again.

If anyone wants to check theirs just rename that title lister.elf app to boot.elf and load it with twilight hack. This is someone else's list that I googled to show you what it looks like on your TV when it runs.

CODEFound 62 titles:

I had a look at my system with the title list thingie, and I can't make heads or tails of what each of these mean.
It shows as having 47 installed.
I see that it keeps track of firmware updates. I see the fabled IOS37 or something. For the rest it means nothing.
I also cross-checked two installed VC games via that 4 letter code, with the ones on my PC(they matched)

I considered doing system format, but then it prompted me to un-link my account (probably losing all my bought VC games in the process)

We need a tool that clears the 'history' of the Wii, cos I see no point why it still resides on the system if the stuffs no longer on there.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
