Oh, I inject NeoGeo games using Devilken's Injector, and edit the banner and icon afterwards with CustomizeMii.
(Auto)Injectuwad does not support NeoGeo, which is why I use Devilken for NeoGeo.

I just wroten a complete tutorial for inject NEOGEO games as Wii Virtual Console games, community. I tested my injects and it worked great! I am using @sr_corsario's method for inject NEOGEO ROMs: Here's my tutorial:

Remember, that tool is a bit obsolete because of restriction of OS to Windows XP x32 bits, so I've made two new up-to-dated tools that work on Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10 and later versions for make game.bin.z files...
