Wen it works and it will work better over time, it will give direct translations complete opposite of localisers where they change the dialogue to add jokes that never existed, censor some messages, remove messages or simplyfy to fit the text onto screen and storage limits, plus while they say they make it match current english standards and remove things specific to japanese culture or things only japanese will understand but not the english audience but they end up pushing political messages and words that never existed in the game.

Essentially AI gives the direct translation that is representive of the original author and it gives a much better reprenstation of what characters especially in game where the main characters parents were killed and the snes/gba version seemed off, quiet reaction but when you get the direct tranlation filled with shock, anger and other emotions that matches the japanese voice acting in the PSP release.

i'd rather have an ai translated patch over no patch at all. that being said no man. it doesnt convey it better if anything ai cant understand or convey subtlety like puns, accents, and other tools writers use to convey ideas. i definitely agree this ism probably the only way we'd get a patch but lets not act like ai is a superior tool. ill take over the counter pain meds if it was my only option but if im seriously injured going to a professional doctor is always the better choice over tylenol and bandages.

I won't continue "Valhala 3 gold, Exstetra, Shining Hearts" I deleted everything too discouraged spending 5 hours a day testing to modify etc GL

most of us would be grateful for such a patch regardless of how you did it as there is no alternative and it is being done as a hobby in your spare time. anyone complaining is really just being an asshole tbh.
