Gaming USRCHEAT.DAT help with Pokemon SS on Acekard 2i!

Hello everyone! I'm new here and this is my first post! I've been going around GBAtemp for a little while.

Now, here's the situation:
I have an Acekard 2i with AKAIO1.6RC2, I have Pokemon Soul Silver in English, and I have R4CCE. Now I did the things I have to do in order to make the codes work (checking game ID matches, enabled codes, placed it in my _ak2 folder, etc.). The game ID and all matches but when I'm in the menu, I press Start and hit on Cheats...nothing happens. No, it doesn't say "No Cheat Database Found" but it just...freezes, I can't do anything like canceling it or anything. I tried over and over again but it freezes, it won't even load up.

I have Cheat Scrolling enabled, and Cheat code usage enabled. It still doesn't work.

Now, here's the question:
How can I fix this...freezing? Pokemon Soul Silver works fine and all but the cheats doesn't load up. Does the Acekard 2i uses USRCHEAT.DAT or CHEAT.DAT? And should I replace the old USRCHEAT/CHEAT.DAT with the new one in the _ak2 folder AND/OR _aio? Anything else I should try to fix this problem?

Use R4CCE on your Cheats and Click "sort", then "save".
Should work If you rebuild on your Acekard.

You mean open up my R4CCE and open up my USRCHEAT.DAT with it? Then go to Item

add game, sort, save
go to cheat menu sel db, rebuild

But... I don't see the "sort" button... I see a Sort Game in Items section And it has three things to choose but I don't see a Sort button...
I already selected my cheat database to USRCHEAT.DAT but it still won't show the menu of cheats up. My other games, like Pokemon Platinum, shows its cheats. Just not Pokemon Soul Silver.
If possible, can anyone direct me to a guide? Thank you!

did you happen to patch your game?

No, it's not patched. But I do have 2 Pokemon Soul Silver. The one I'm trying to get the cheats working is not patched, it's by XPA-PSSU.NDS (or at least Odontoceti think it's patched) and the other one I have is patched. The XPA one haa the same game ID and matches with the USRCHEAT.DAT file I downloaded from this website.
Any idea what's wrong with these..? Thanks for taking your time on my problem!

I dunno if the XPA is patched but it does match game ID and all.

So cheats don't work with AKAIO 1.6RC2? I guess I'm going back to AKAIO1.6, is this good?
Also, should I use the patched game that I have? Even though its game ID don't match up with the USRCHEAT.DAT's PKMN Soul Silver's ID?
I'll Google and see if I can patch the game.

I'll try something out and see if it works, for now I'm testing it.

EDIT: OK, I downgraded my AKAIO from AKAIO 1.6RC2 to AKAIO1.6, then I tried to see if XPA game would work with cheats, the cheats menu DID show up and not the patched game that I had.

I guess all my problems are fixed! Thank you so much for your help, elixirdream!! I don't care if the patched game won't show its cheats, that's my legit playthrough. I want to play a hacked game on the XPA thing and it works! Once again, I cannot thank you enough for the help!

cheats work perfectly on akaio 1.6 RC2

for patch game you need to CHANGE the GAME ID
