Config.txt goes in the same palce as the dol file. I'm not sure about titles.txt however, I think theres a bug with that

Could someone send me a WAD of this? I can get it running as a dol in homebrew channel but the WAD will not run, just gives me a black screen. When I inject it it gives me a code dump.

Making a GUI wouldn't be extremely hard since you already know how to code, however making the images is hard (If you suck at it), but I believe someone around here can do that.

yep, it should be named config.txt, that's why it's not working.

Can you make it so it loads the bg.png from the folder that the dol was launched from and not from /images/ folder?

just change it in the config.txt to

images_path=SD:/apps/XXXX/


XXX = your folder of the boot.dol

you will have to put all images in there though.

To make it more of a GUI, really the only thing that needs to change is the console.

http://code.google.com/p/freetypegx/ has the library and code examples needed to draw text on the screen as graphics. Doesn't look too difficult.

The great thing is that it would allow us to change the font size. It might also help with the flicker problem that I and some others get with the current console.

Hey folks, me again.

Now a few pages back (171 to be exact), there was a loader background image that when I right-clicked it to save it it was going to save it as a jpg. I though that the usb loaders were only working with png's at the moment. Will this jpg work fine or will I have issues.

Has to be png. Didn't realize the site I uploaded to automatically converted it.
