I would say to remove the theme downloader the server requires registration and the use of adf.ly, I however can download and upload the themes somewhere else like mediafire/zippyshare so that they can be downloaded once again, if you want to go that route I would suggest making a separate dol for theme downloading, if memory and application size is getting to big for the loader, I know that the theme downloader has memory issues itself so it may fix a few things

Edit: Zippyshare.net doesn't use captcha's at all unless the file is over 200MB so I would probably upload the themes there is anything

Yeah, the Theme Downloader isn't working because of it needing registration and adf.ly. I'd also like to say that when you download Ocarina cheat codes, it's all in HTML and they don't work (even though I use it for Project M).

you don't need an ocarina code if you compile a Project M.WBFS file

Regarding the SD Wii game loading that was brought up earlier, I completely understand not implementing this feature in GX because of memory constraints. However, I wonder if there's a way to make it possible to launch a Wii game using a different loader (like CFG) from within GX. That would be similar to how GX games are launched, using an external loader like Nintendont.

yes, it's totally possible using arguments :)
It's possible with the currently revision, but hard to setup.

There are different method to do it:
1. no change needed : install a wiiflow forwarder + game arguments on your realNAND. The channel will be listed in GX and can be launched.
Pro: it's already compatible.
cons: you need to create channels for your games (WiGSC/crap)

2. using a plugin system, to add games/application to the loader (it's planed, but not soon). games will be listed twice (unless you properly setup your filters/categories)
pro: clean interface and integration
cons: proper category settings to prevent multiple games displayed. plugin can be hard to code, so it won't be done soon.

3. a new option in the game settings "use external loader", you point to the dol you want to boot (wiiflow booter dol) and it will pass the gameID as argument (relatively easy and fast to do).
pro: easy to setup for the user and code for me.
cons: you need the game on USB too, or else USBGX will not list it. if you have it on USB, you should just launch it from here, or you can make a dummy ISO on USB.

option 3 is easy, but I don't like the idea to add this as a game setting. it's not "clean" as it's an additional settings and other settings will have no effect (users might report that they don't work etc.) while the settings should be set in the targeted loader.
using the option 2 is cleaner as it would be a new feature integrated to the loader, with proper menus and settings for each plugins. but that will need more work.
I can make option 3 as a proof of concept, when I'll have time.

Nice, that sounds good. In my opinion, GX has easily the best looking interface of any loader, so it would be nice to have the features that the others sport, even if it's a little messy. Doesn't affect me personally, but more options are always good!

what I have done now.
installed The Homebrew Channel (HBC)
installed Bootmii
installed Install a patched IOS236
installed Priiloader

tried installe Multi-Mod Manager (MMM) , but controlen shuts off. it asks for another ios current iso 236 (v65535)
tried installe YAWMM but controlen shuts off.
it asks for ios 249, ( or it says , select the iOS version to use ios 249) will install it installe it If i have a white controller, or do i install it myself if so, where can I find a safe download of it, and how do i installe It and the best to do it .

My USB Loader GX can not find the hard drive, have been trying all the suggestions here on the forum . is there someone who is intiligent enough to resolve this.
it's a dell disk that is formatted to FAT32 and have used WiiBackupManager_Win32 and put some games on it in iso format

I have now read and been looking for about 50 hours,

I have a black wii with motion + Control

I told you many time already.
USBLoaderGX will work when you follow the softmod guide.
Use another Wiimote or another Wad manager.

This thread is not the place to ask how to softmod your console.
there are a loooot of guides on this forum, look in the FAQ section.

And please, stop posting the same question in ALL the forum.

it says , select the iOS version to use ios 249
You don't understand what you need to do or how to follow guides. I already told you, DO NOT select 249. you need to select 236.
Use wiimote OR gamecube controller OR anything you can to "press Right or Left" and change the number.
Select "236" and press A.

Good wad managers shouldn't ask you any IOS.
it now works without the need to select IOS.
Please, use last version of wad manager. --> http://downloads.nanolx.org/YAWMM_DE/YAWMM_DE-rev5e.tar.bz2
edit: english version :
https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/how-to-use/wad-manager/YAWMM_EN.zip?attredirects=0&d=1

If you really have no controller working (no wiimote (not motion+), no gamecube controller?), I think some wad managers can auto-install wads without user intervention.
There are also other method to install the needed files, but I fear you don't understand it.

I don't like that website because It doesn't give things the way I would recommend. It's not bad, just personal taste (for example I recommend d2x v8 on Wii).
but yeah, that's good enough for learning or starting.

just noticed it miss neek2o guide. (I never used it and wonder few things about "return to" feature, so I could add it in this loader)

I need help getting my external hard drive to work on my wii. The port 0 had recently broke so i can not use it now. I have been trying to get port 1 to read my ext hard drive with my wii games but doesn't work. I have tried installing the d2x v10 beta 52 on ios 248, 249, 251. And also hermes cios. Even though after changing the usb loader gx settings to use the ios and use port 1, it still does not work.

use Hermies v6/5.1 ios 202 as boot ios then try setting port 1 and restarting usb loader gx
you might need a 3.5" usb drive that uses an external power supply or a Y cable that you can connect to a hub to supply extra power

you confused me. You never saw the neek2o guide that was on there before I posted the link?
There's a neek2o guide on the website?
I found a neek guide, but not a neek2o specific informations.

What I want to know, and didn't find in neek2o thread :
when exiting a game how do you exit neek2o automatically back to realNAND's USBLoaderGX?
Do you need to install a "nswitch" channel on emuNAND?
The "return to" TitleID passed as argument by USBLoaderGX when launching Neek2o is the returned channel on RealNAND when exiting neek2o or the one installed on EmuNAND when exiting the game played on EmuNAND?

there's probably the need of two chained "return to".
How I understand it:
USBGX realNAND -> launch neek2o -> EmuNAND Game -> exit game on emuNAND -> load Nswitch on EmuNAND -> back to RealNAND -> UNEO forwarder -> Back to USBLoaderGX.

As someone using v10, may I ask why? Would it be advantageous for me to use v8 instead?
I'm a "if not broken, don't fix it" person. Updating is not always beneficial. (see, updating to r53 is breaking EmuNAND!)

v8 is considered the final version
v9 was a beta but broke things
v10 is a mix of v8+v9 (stable and unstable mixed together) released in two version with different features : "10 and 10-alt".
if v8 works fine and is detecting your HDD correctly, I don't see any reason to use v10.
if you really want Port1/plug and play support, then use v10-alt but with EmuNAND limitation (I don't really know which issue it's causing, users are starting a compatibility list on Wiki to compare cIOS compatibility).

since v8 :
r51:
Fix some HDD detection
cIOS using bases 60/70/80 (but everyone use base56/57/58)
Removed a patch (I don't know its use), now done by USB module automatically. (with or with r51, the patch is applied anyway)

r52 (v10)
Added support for vWii.... that's all.

r53 (v10-alt)
add port1 and plug'n'play support.

I need help getting my external hard drive to work on my wii. The port 0 had recently broke so i can not use it now. I have been trying to get port 1 to read my ext hard drive with my wii games but doesn't work. I have tried installing the d2x v10 beta 52 on ios 248, 249, 251. And also hermes cios. d2x beta52 doesn't work with Port1.
Port1 works only with these cIOS :

Hermes v4
Hermes v5.1
d2x v9 (beta)
d2x v10-alt (beta53)

After you install one of these cIOS, then you need to set the settings in the loader > HDD settings > Port : 1
It "should" edit your meta.xml automatically to tell USBLoaderGX boot process that you want to mount Port1 in priority and skip Port0 (or you will wait 20sec for Port1 init).
If you still see the 20sec countdown screen, verify that your meta.xml file is correctly :
- without Commented lines (delete the "remove this line to enable arguments" lines)
- Has --usbport=1
- Has --IOS=xxx (your IOS slot you want to use to boot the loader, choose a slot where you have one of the cIOS I listed above)

hmmm well I used to use Uneek2o with postloader as a usbloader gx forwarder but the nswitch channel on EmuNand and RealNand was needed and a couple of .dol files on the root of the SD card as well to function properly. in Abz Wiiflow Mastermod pack there is a Sneek2o-back-to-Real-Nand.wad I wonder if that could work as I would think the Nswtich channel might boot the EmuNand if it does return properly to the RealNand, I haven't tested it maybe AbdallahTerro can tell us if that wad would be of use.

I have an EmuNand on my SD Card that USB Loader GX uses for game saves my return to setting is set to boot the usbloader gx channel on the RealNand could that be causing the issue of returning to usb loader gx when I press power?

it's the old nswitch channel works best with sneek2o
the other one is latest nswitch channel best used with uneek2o
