EDIT: I forgot to include that I do not have a chip, and I do have homebrew installed. I also installed ios38rev13b as well.

I have 3.1U, and yes I searched but alas one way or another they ended up relying on WiFi doing the updates for them. One of these days I will have Wifi, but today isn't the day.
So how do you do this? I understand it's more risky If I could just update it to 3.2U then I can install those anti-brick programs then I could go for 4.0.
Reason I want up update it so I can have SoftMii.
I can guarantee someone will yell NEWB and send a link of the very same question with the nice walk through. But alas, I am a newb.
BTW: No games has 3.2, just wanted to throw that out before anyone suggested it.
