Hacking Updating emunand on O3DS & downgrading on N3DS ?

I downgraded the firmware of my O3DS from 10.3.0-28 to 9.2.0-20 and installed RxTools. I want to update the emunand to 9.5 at least, but don't know how to, and don't know if it'll affect the sysnand in any way because they're linked.
By the way, I'm going to buy a N3DS soon and also wanted to know if it's safe to downgrade yet and which custom firmware should I install

just unlink your o3ds and update to 10.3 in emunand. Many people got n3ds to downgrade successfully but it ups to you if you want to downgrade or not.

Can I unlink the nands formating the Emunand? I don't wanna format the sysnand
