Okay. Does that need to be done every time an update?

I used AOS and updated hekate/hbmenu with that as well.

Edit: Same error when trying to re install after removing. Unable to start, please return to home menu and try again.

Is there new sig patches or something?

I thought it was only (basically every other) update from Nintendo that requires new sig patches?

My games still work fine ... so it shouldn't be that right? I can boot games fine and enter HB menu fine. Just can't use Tinfoil
It's not every other update. It's sporadic. So assume everytime you update atmosphere and or firmware, you need new patches.
Just about every atmosphere update, you need a new loader patch
Just about every firmware update you need new fs and es patches.
There's no "every other update". Also most game booting issues are fixed by fresh set of sig patches.

It is not a tinfoil problem if you got tinfoil v16 and Atmosphere 1.5.2, make sure your patches are up to date, if you use something like HATS pack then you can just copy and paste.

It may not be every other update but if you look at the list of updates it has been literally every other update for the entirety of updates.

That's weird. I know I have everything unless the sigpatches changed again. I just updated them like two days ago.

I will try the two suggestions in the meantime but anyone else have anything?

The only ways that I found to fixing this, since this thread has been viewed quite a few times, was using HATS custom pack + all in one downloader for updating CFW + sig patches.

That's the only consistent way that I can really get it to work. It seems like the sig patches are updated all the time randomly now or something too.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
