Tinfoil keeps saying "corrupted data"

Signature patches have been updated to 18.0.1, yet it still won't stop bitching about corrupted data.

How do I get tinfoil to start again? Both Hekate & Atmosphere are on their latest versions.

Other titles also start normally.

Personally I just use DBI. Never had a problem.

Were you using fusee to boot Atmosphère by any chance? Because the current versions no longer apply sigpatches anymore... could that be the issue?

If so, you'd need to either boot using fss0 through Hekate, using a modified version of fusee, or use sys-patch, for the sigpatches to load. This is explained here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatc...kate-fss0-fusee-package3.571543/#post-9162146

Yep, it isn't related to sigpatches. At least I think.

Did you ever end up resolving this? I'm having the exact same issue. All software is also on their latest versions (Firmware 18.0.1, most updated Signature Patches, Hekate and Atmosphere, also launching Atmosphere via Fusee and other games all work perfectly). Yet I cannot install Tinfoil....

I had to install the latest Signature Patches and, what I was missing, was I also had to install the sys-patch. The latest one I believe is: sys-patch-1.5.2-88297f8. (Good with firmware 8.1.0). Then it worked!

Glad you got it working, but that's not really how it works. You don't need both, you need one or the other. Since you have sys-patch working you could completely delete all sigpatches from your SD if you wanted to.
