Every time I boot atmosphere in hekate, it says the folder is broken. So I put the SD card in, and atmosphere folder is filled with files of random symbols and files. So I use chkdsk to get rid of it and then drag and drop my backup atmosphere folder from my PC, but I still cant open it. Check again, corrupted again. I wipe it with guiformat, then put all the backup folders I have, it just corrupts again. My MicroSD is an official SanDisk 512 GB microSD I got YESTERDAY. Is my switch unusable? I literally cannot find anyone else with this issue. And the SD tells me to insert a disk called Multi-Volume set?????

Unless you bought the card directly from SanDisk, there is no way of telling whether it is a fake or not by the looks of it.
Such fake cards are perfect these days.
Back in the day you could tell by the price that something wasn't right but now they are sold at regular prices to avoid any suspicion.

H2TESTW is your best chance of determining whether you're allowed to join the club of fake SD card owners.
We have all been there.
