It's a flash backup that you have to write via a ntrboot flasher to the card.

OMG OMG OMG! YOU ARE A GODSEND! I accidentally bricked my r4 SDHC RTS Lite 2020 when trying to install CFW on my other 3DS so I panicked a lot since I couldn't use it for GBA purposes (Save data backup, Gen 3 event tool, etc...) anymore. When I saw this thread, my heart was relieved. I thought I was gonna have to buy another one but I'm glad I found this thread. Thank you so very much again! I am sooo thankful for the zip file and all!
