I had access to the private GitHub for TWL Patcher.Hey, @Robz8 how were you able to make the widescreen patch's compatibility list if the patch wasn't out yet? Just of curiosity
Oh, yeah, that makes senseI had access to the private GitHub for TWL Patcher.
Yes, the patch is included, and is separate from "usrcheat.dat".@Robz8 Did you include a widescreen patch for the EU Mario 64 DS?
Only if I use a widescreen patch via the usrcheat.dat it doesn't look stretched.
Follow widescreen instructions from this post. How do I enable it then?
Is there another option besides the 16:10 aspect ratio?
Install both latest TWLMenu++ CIAs to fix the bug.@Robz8 I think I found the reason:
TwilightMenu checks on the existence of Widescreen.cxi, copies it to luma/sysmodules as TwlBg.cxi and enables the widescreen cheat.
After closing the game, the Widescreen.cxi isn't there anymore so it doesn't enable the cheat.
What's the issue you're having?nvm im having issues ive followed the guide and the patcher just wont patch and the wide bat doesnt work
You don't need that. You can get TwlBg.cxi using the instructions from here. Can someone send me the section0.bin? I've been trying for like 3 hours to extract it with no luck. I know that can't be posted publicly, but through private message or something?
For some reason, it didn't work, and I think it's because I have one of the old patcher's filters activated. How do I disable it? Do I just have to set it back to "Nintendo's original"?You don't need that. You can get TwlBg.cxi using the instructions from here.
That's not the issue. How did it not work? For some reason, it didn't work, and I think it's because I have one of the old patcher's filters activated. How do I disable it? Do I just have to set it back to "Nintendo's original"?
When I execute wide.bat, what has to happen? That's not the issue. How did it not work?
